They are excellent for use on most types of exterior wood decking, including pressure treated pine, red and white cedar, fir, cypress, redwood, and on hardwoods such as mahogany, cambara, meranti, and other exotic wood species. Best results can be obtained by using a high-quality, natural bristle brush. If you must spray or roll, always backbrush immediately after each section is coated to ensure proper penetration.
